Harshad was born on 17th May 1983, making him a Taurus - The Bull. He hails from a town named Gondia which is near Nagpur where he studied at the Rabindranath Tagore School. Later he moved to the beautiful city of Pune where he did his engineering from Modern College and while in Pune, stayed at the Firodiya Hostel. So its not only looks. Heres the perfect combination of beauty and brains.

While in Pune, he participated in the Citadel Mr.Pune in 2004 where he won an award for the best physique. I'm assuming that the judges had lights in their face as they couldn't see the beautiful face, his ocean deep eyes and the million dollar smile but only the physique. Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do !

Two years later, he won the best smile award in Mr.Grasim. So this time, they did see him smile. But it wasn't long before the whole package was noticed. In 2007, a British magazine Eastern Eye listed him as the 100 most sexiest men in Asia 2007. Amen !

Sometime during his stay in Pune, a city he loves very much, he saw Salman Khan. The engineering student who loved maths and physics suddenly ran the numbers and the laws of physics in his head and decided to take up acting. Alas, good looks didn't go to waste at some office desk, and sadly for Newton, he's been defying gravity ever since.

Thus this chocolate loving guy started his acting career starring in serials like Mamta, Left Right Left, Amber Dhara, a Bengali film named Jutii and then landed the awesome lead in the Star Plus Primetime soap Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil as Prem, thus becoming the Nation's hearthrob. Everyone wants him, everyone wants to be him, all mothers want him as their son, all mothers wish that their sons would be like him. Sorry folks, I guess God broke the mould after he made this Ganymede. As for me, I wish I was Zeus ;)

See Harshad, told ya that you were better off without Mahabharat.
